LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
February 9, 2024 - Our class celebrated the Year of the Dragon last Friday. To begin, Sivohn represented the class to wish Mr. Pham a "happy new year, good health, and lose some weight!!!" Then it's Mr. Pham's turn to wish us a happy new year with a lot of success. Afterwards, Mr. Pham handed out “Red Envelopes” that we made but with a special Year of the Dragon lucky money inside to wish us good fortune through the New Year 2024.
After the ceremonies, we played Lunar New Year "games of chance" using class money and bought munchies from the "Dragon" store. It was a lot of fun celebrating the Year of the Rabbit and playing games with friends.
