December 13, 2023- Room B1 elves did a STEM project called “Operation Santa Drop” where the elves, in groups of 2 or 3, had to work together to find ways to help Santa Claus lands safely to the ground after a mid-air mishap. They used napkins as parachutes, cups as sleighs, with some strings, notecards, and tape. After 15 Santa Chutes went down,  Hadiqa and Jaslene won the competition with the time of 2.81 seconds!!!
​Glad to report that we have saved Christmas this year! 🎅🎄
It was a fun project for the young elves to learn about gravity and air resistance.
