FIRST WEEK OF 5TH GRADE

August 3-11, 2023 - Welcome back to Rio! During these first days of the school year,  we set aside time to get to know more about each other. We played a "Find Some Who..." interviewing activity, solved tangram puzzles, and even drew and personalized our own pigs!!! We reviewed PBIS guidelines of being SAFE, RESPONSIBLE, and RESPECTFUL in the classroom, cafeteria, on the playground, and in the bathroom. Ms. Andersen also visited our class to talk about the music program. At the end of the week, we enjoyed some popsicles with each other and had our first pay-day.
We have done many things to help us understand how our Fifth Grade is going to be like. ​It was a fun first week and promises to be a fun year.
